Brakes

4 - Wheel Power Disc Brakes is Standard Equipment on all our Cars

All our brake and suspension parts are brand new.

We do not use a donor car front suspension or brake system

West Coast Dreams engineering out our own brake system specifically for our car

Brakes are very important to us. We wanted a brake system that was bearable to drive on the street (power brakes) and was capable to taking everything we could give it on the race track. We wanted to have the best brake system we (and customers) could come up with for all our customers. We don't have a get by brake system (donor car) as standard equipment and then sell you an optional brake system that cost hundreds of dollars more.

West Coast has designed our own braking system. We could not use a system designed for another car and expect it to work on ours that is balanced totally different. Because we did not believe that someone else's brake system would work properly on one of our cars, we spent 3 months of engineering and testing, using on board computer testing equipment & video to come up with our own system. West Coast believes you need an above average brake system on this type of car because of the power and the capability of reaching high speeds is far quicker than most other cars.

We use new spindles. We designed the special adaptor brackets mounted to the spindles to receive the HD brake calipers that are capable of taking the pressure generated by the power brake booster. We also use carbon metallic brake pads.

We have 4-wheel power disc brakes front & rear (as standard equipment) with enought stopping power to even go racing.

All of this is installed for you in our kit. We even bleed the brakes for you.

Our Front Suspension was custom designed by a professional sports car engineer using the same computer simulator that some Nascar teams used, then tested it out in our new demo car called King Cobra

Using tubular unequal length Contro Ams combined with coil-overs gave us a better front suspension than we had ever expected

That means we have our own design of Front Suspension to give us the most awome handling car anyone could ask for and going way beyond what a kit car is
