Jim did an excellent job building one of our cars. Took delivery July 1995
Dr. Goodman is a person everyone wanted as a friend. I am thankful I had a chance to be one of them. Dr. Jim Goodman left us November 2000 due to cancer. So many people are going to miss him. To: Guerry & the rest of his family, just remember he left his mark all over the world and he will not be forgotten. Who could forget the "Fly in Doctor" who if necessary, used his own helicopter or airplane to fly to his customers to take care them. Bob Hope was one of his many famous customers as well as several of our past presidents. Jim has personally autographed pictures of these famous people all through his office & home, including one signed by Carroll Shelby himself. |

Dr. Jim Goodman was a very famous Chiropractor as well as a scientist and an inventor of many things especially in his field. He was the guest speaker at a lot of their conventions. He was also on the board of directors of the southern CA Baptist Ministries. One thing I do know, is that Jim was always on the positive side and complimented and encouraged people better than anyone else I have known. Jim always told me "keep up the good work Vern" and it made my day.

Jim had us make up his interior in rich looking burgundy. |
Jim come up with this idea of putting clear Plexiglas between the roll bar and the body. It is hard to see in the picture above, but it is there. This almost eliminates any wind turbulence to the driver.... IT WORKS !!!
| When we decided to go on the internet we did not have any knowledge about making up our own web site. Curt Scott, owner / editor of Complete guide to Kit Cars, sold me on the idea of having him make up a web page for us and to put us in his new Cobracounty web site. Curt needed high resolution pictures to make up our site. Because both Jim & Curt live fairly close together & Jim had done such a great job detailing his car, I called Jim and he gladly gave me his approval to use his car.
I made arrangements to visit the Goodman's and have Curt Scott meet us at their home while I was there. When Curt arrived, Jim gave me the keys to his car to do the photo shoot. Curt & I drove around the area taking a whole bunch of pictures at several different locations. Jim's car was the first and only car we had on our web site when we were with Cobracounty. Later, we developed our own web site and still had Jim's car displayed, however we are not in possession of these high resolution pictures to give you to do his car justice.

We are trying to find some more pictures of his car. When we do we will add them.
