Engine Related Information & Pictures

This is a 625 hp 460 stroked to 514 ci.

This is how it comes & using the Princess CD, we will walk you thru step by step to finish your engine & trans like you see here.

Princess Sandra will first show you and explain exactly what you get when you order a 460 Ford crate motor and then she will show you the few items that you have to add, the suppliers name & phone #, their part #,s and price

We have created a special web site to give you a better idea of what is involved. Just click on her picture and she will take you on a picture tour and we have also added text to explain what she is pointing at.

There is information applies to all the new 500 hp, 550 hp or 625 hp-460 crate motors available today

This first set of pictures were taken of a 535 hp (now 550 hp) 460 crate motor right out of the crate. Our goal was to take pictures as we prepared the motor for installation. We are pleased with the results. It was a standard 5-speed trans used so it includes pictures and information on the flywheel, clutch, bellhousing, trans / shifter and more. This could be used as an assembly manual to finish assembling it as well as giving you more information on the motors themselves. We now have it available on a CD, with detailed instructions & high resolution pictures that would take too long for you to download off the internet. When you receive the CD, you can also print them out for yourself.

We advise you to use the Ford 429 / 460 that we have our design based on so. However, you can use almost any Ford or GM engine in building one of our cars. We have the motor mounts for them. We have customers (and ourselves) who have used everything from a Ford 427 side oiler to a small block 302 / 351 Ford engine or a 350 Chevy to a monster Chrysler 426 Hemi. Some of the other engines that have been used are a full 800 hp Ford racing 670 c.i., Ford Boss 429, Ford 429 overhead cam engine, 454 Chevy, 427 Chevy and others. You can also find a used 429 / 460 and either re-build it yourself or have an engine builder do it for you. You might even want to find an engine builder who can custom build an engine to whatever specs you want.
