We use flat black paint to paint the rockers and inside the wheel wells. As you can see in this picture, we use spray cans of foam insulation to completely fill the rockers. Then (the next day) we take a hack saw blade and trim the hardened foam flush with the frame rail. After we trim the foam, we touch it up with the flat black paint. We also insert a 7/8 wireloom inside both rockers before we spray the foam in to serve as a conduit to run wiring in the future for a trunk mounted amplifier etc. |
