Coil-over Front Suspension is standard on our kits and finished cars. The coil-overs are chrome plated, both the shock & the spring.
This entire front suspension was designed in 1991 just for our car. For the first few years it was a $1500 Option over the previous front suspension, now it's the only suspension we supply both for our kits and finished cars. We manufacture both the upper & lower control arms in house, using only new parts. We also use only new spindles, rotors, bearings & seals.
Today, this is has a value of $800 more than conventional front suspensions.
We went to great lengths to have the best handling car we could have. We hired an engineer to design it for us and a great deal of time was spent on an elaborate race car computer simulator to get everything just right. All the specs of our car had to be entered into the computer first then he had to design and test everything on the computer. When this was all done, we had to build & test the first car out on a race track. It come out better than we had ever hoped for.
This suspension makes the car handle better than you can imagine. It is designed to give the driver confidence in the car and himself. If you find that it is getting away from you, all you have to do is let go of the steering wheel and it will straighten itself out. It provides us with neutral steer and it wants to stay on course. You can take your hands off the steering wheel at over 120 mph and you will not feel scared.
