A Full Roll Bar has always been standard on our cars

We have always been concerned with passenger safety as well as the drivers.

A lot of us horse around when we go out driving our Dream Machines and have no control over what other drivers out there do. You should be more concerned for you passengers safety than your own. Not only don't they know what you (the driver) is going to do in the event of an emergency, they also have no control over the situation.

Very few other Cobra's (if any) out there have them. We are also concerned that most of them are just a decoration mounted to the body. Most do not have any frame structure to mount the roll bar to (or at least both sides to) as you can see by the picture below of the original ladder bar chassis design. You should do research into the safety of the other Cobras out there and how they mount the roll bar before making your final decision.

We are not putting a dollar value on this item, you be the judge.

Original Design West Coast Design

Notice how our Roll bar is attached directly to the frame and reinforced with gussets. Our roll bar does not touch the body. It goes thru the body using rubber grommets between the roll bar & the body.

All the information on this page pertains to both our kits & finished cars
